YOUR BEST FRIEND IS WAITING

Why Adopt?

Adopting a dog isn’t just about finding a new pet—it’s about saving a life and opening your heart to a companion who will love you unconditionally. Every dog in rescue has a story. Some were abandoned, neglected, or simply unlucky. But no matter where they came from, each one deserves a second chance. When you adopt, you’re not only giving a dog a loving home—you’re helping break the cycle of homelessness and making space for us to save another. Adopted dogs are resilient, grateful, and often the most loyal companions you’ll ever meet. They don’t need to be perfect—they just need someone to believe in them. When you choose adoption, you’re choosing compassion, hope, and change. You’re making a powerful statement: that every life matters.

So, why adopt? Because your best friend is waiting—and they need you just as much as you need them.

Rufus

is 1.5–2 years, pit bull mix. He is your classic beach-loving, tail-wagging heartthrob! He’s a social butterfly—great with dogs, fantastic with people, and always down for a good time. Whether it's a long walk on the beach or a game of zoomies in the yard, Rufus brings the party.

He’s still brushing up on a few manners (he thinks “sit” is cool and “settle” is even cooler), but he’s eager to please and ready to learn. With a little training and a lot of love, Rufus is bound to be your best adventure buddy.

Adoption Fee: $625

Our adoption fee of $625 helps cover essential veterinary care for each dog before they go to their forever home. This includes:

  • Spay or neuter surgery

  • Up-to-date vaccinations

  • Rabies vaccine

  • Microchip for identification

What many people don’t see are the additional and often unpredictable costs that come with rescue work. These can include medications for kennel cough, treatment for worms or foxtail injuries, and sometimes more serious medical conditions that require urgent care.

We also provide food, toys, leashes, and collars—basic comforts and supplies for each dog. One of the most substantial and rapidly rising expenses we face is veterinary care. Like many in animal rescue, we're feeling the impact of exorbitantly increasing vet costs, which make it even more challenging to say “yes” to dogs in need.

We want you to know: we do not profit from adoption fees. Every dollar goes directly to the care, treatment, and transport of the animals we rescue. Our mission is fueled by compassion—and made possible through your support.

If you're not ready to adopt but still want to help, please consider making a donation. Your contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue saving lives.
