Aura may be tiny at just under five pounds, but her heart is enormous. This precious little Maltese/Yorkie mix came from the same hoarding situation as her sister, Maple, where they lived among more than 60 dogs. Life has been overwhelming for this little girl, but she's already showing just how resilient and loving she is.

Aura is a gentle soul who finds comfort in kind people and quiet surroundings. As she continues to decompress, her sweet personality shines a little brighter every day. She enjoys being close to her humans, soaking up affection, and learning that she no longer has to compete for attention or worry about the chaos of her past.

She'll need a family willing to let her settle in at her own pace, but the reward is immeasurable. Watching Aura discover toys, cozy beds, belly rubs, and unconditional love is truly something special. She has so much love to give and is ready to spend the rest of her life being someone's treasured little companion.
