Max is the definition of laid-back. He’s a mellow, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who’s not in a rush to do anything except enjoy life at his own pace. He’s calm, easy to be around, and just a genuinely good dog.

When Max first came in, he was completely matted, but once he got a proper groom, he immediately felt better—and you could see it. He had a little pep in his step and was clearly more comfortable in his own skin.

He’s great with other dogs and has such a gentle, easygoing nature that we’d bet he’d do just fine with cats too. He’s that kind of dog—quietly sweet and adaptable.

Max did well during grooming, though he does have a few sensitive spots, so he’ll need a groomer who’s patient and aware of that. Regular grooming will be important to keep him feeling his best.

At 5–6 years old, Max is in that perfect stage—past the chaos, but still with plenty of good years ahead. If you’re looking for a calm, low-maintenance companion with a kind soul, Max is your guy.
