Meet Mer, a little blue-eyed heart-stealer who is just beginning his big adventure in the world! At approximately 8 weeks old and around 6 pounds, this handsome boy is growing by the day. He's at the age when everything is fascinating, every day brings something new, and there's always another discovery waiting around the corner.

Mer has all the puppy goodness you could ask for: playfulness, curiosity, silly little moments, and so much potential. He and his brother Perry are getting the love, attention, and care they need during these important early weeks, when positive experiences help shape the confident, well-adjusted dogs they'll become. We want Mer to grow up feeling safe, learning how to navigate the world, and developing the skills he'll need to thrive as an adolescent and adult.

We suspect Mer is a Husky mix, and those gorgeous blue eyes certainly make him memorable. As with any puppy, his future family should be ready to invest time in socialization, positive-reinforcement training, exercise, and all the patience it takes to raise a young dog. He's a little guy now, but he's growing fast, and his family should be prepared for the commitment of a growing dog.

Mer has a brother from the same litter still with us, and other puppies from their litter have been placed with fellow rescues around the Bay Area. It's wonderful to see these babies getting the opportunity to grow, learn, and find families of their own.
