Spauk is a sweet, sensitive boy who’s learning what it means to be loved and safe. Coming from a hoarding situation, he’s still adjusting to life in a real home—but he’s already showing how affectionate and gentle he can be once he feels comfortable.

He’s also Phatty’s brother, and just like his sibling, he’s learning to trust, explore, and enjoy life outside the only world he’s ever known.

At 12 pounds, Spauk is on the bigger side for a Chihuahua, but that just means there’s more of him to love. He’s wonderful with other dogs and cats, and while he can be shy around new people, with time and kindness he blossoms into a snuggly, loyal little companion.

He’s still discovering the world and learning to be an independent, well-rounded pup, so patience and gentle encouragement will go a long way.
