Teddy is purebred Wirehaired Dachshund through and through, and he is 14 pounds of low-riding, puppy-like fun. At about a year old, he's still got plenty of that goofy puppy energy and absolutely no shortage of enthusiasm for life.

He's never met a toy he didn't immediately want to play with, and he's convinced every dog he meets should be his new best friend. Teddy loves the beach, and apparently swimming pools are irresistible because you simply cannot keep this little guy out of the water.

Kids are some of Teddy's favorite people, and he's wonderfully social with just about everyone. He's been around cats, birds, dogs, and all sorts of living things, and his attitude is basically, "Sounds good, let's be friends."
